Born in San Francisco, raised in Haight Ashbury by punks and goths, Justine Lucas writes from a unique perspective about her generation. Influenced by Folk, Bluegrass, Americana, Gypsy Jazz, and Blues, this multi-instrumentalist is creating a new kind of folk music that honors musical roots while growing outwards from them, breaking bounds lyrically and texturally with her voice.
